Brian May, Sir Patrick Moore and Chris Lintott joined forces to compile a book of the 100 most awe-inspiring destinations in the world.
To launch The Cosmic Tourist, we invited press to join the three cosmics for a night of stargazing at Sir Patrick Moore’s house in the countryside. The press were honoured to be invited to the home of the world’s greatest astronomer. Every major astronomy magazine reviewed the book and almost every national newspaper covered what the Independent named the most eccentric and wonderful launch party.
