We ran the PR for Queen in 3-D, the first Queen book written by a band member and the first ever autobiography where the author/ rockstar took all the photography and in 3-D!
The global press launch was held at London’s Century Club and Brian May presented the book in 3-D to a full house of press unveiling previously unseen images of the band taken on his stereo cameras (3-D) and revealing untold stories. The room was filled with a stereoscopic exhibit of Brian’s cameras, original photos and viewers he collected along the way, as well as Queen memorabilia related to the book and housed in Brian’s archive. The media were captivated.
The campaign has lasted for six months with book signings in major stores and talks at leading festivals including Hay and Cheltenham.
The book featured in the world’s most influential media sources including Guardian, Sunday Times, Mail online, Express, Mojo, Classic Rock, NME, Billboard, Lomography, Huffington Post, Business Insider and was broadcast on Sky News, BBC Radio 2, Radio 4, Magic FM, Absolute, Heart FM, LBC, Classic FM, Planet Rock.
To coincide with Queen’s current 2017 European tour further coverage has been generated for the book in relevant territories.
